Today on they even more details on the Playstation 3 Bluetooth headset due to release in October. Now Sony really went above and beyond expectations when they decided to design this headset and they focused on what gamers want, and they definitely delivered on this gaming Bluetooth headset. I had already reported on previous details but just found out about the new “High Quality Mode”. This new mode can only be used when connected to a Playstation 3. Here is how discribes it, “The headset will feature “High-Quality (HQ) mode” with PS3. In this mode, the headset will take advantage of advanced voice technologies and noise cancellation techniques to provide clear and wideband voice input to the PS3. The HQ mode will ensure a much better voice chat quality on the PS3.” Also HQ mode will, “enable accurate speech recognition required to support or enhance ‘Voice Command’ and ‘Voice Animation’ features.” So this new HQ mode on the headset seems to promise super clear voice chat on the Playstation 3.
Now every gamer knows that after wearing a headset for hours and hours they sometimes get uncomfortable or the battery just dies. Well Sony listened to gamers and came up with a solution and incorporated it into this amazing headset by allowing you to plug the headset into the included cradle to use the headset as a desktop microphone while it charges. This is unheard of with any previous bluetooth headset and opens up new windows for gamers. Sony really just created the worlds best bluetooth gaming headset by including this great feature. Gamers using this headset will never have to worry about the battery going dead while in an important game ever again. Props to Sony on this amazing headset and lets hope it really delivers that amazing sound quality. I can’t wait to see how well this headset really does, I’ll be sure to make a review on the headset by Oct. 15th.
