Possible Macbook Picture Leaked? [Updated]

Today on Macrumors they have reported that a company from T-mobile called T Systems has posted an odd photo of a Macbook Pro that is claimed to be a new Macbook Pro. The photo almost exactly matches a previous mock-up of what someone guesses the new Macbooks will look like, which makes this photo very likely to be fake. Engadget says, “The likely explanation is that there’s been a photo mix-up — someone got their proper MBP pictures crossed with one of those “wishful thinking” renders.” So like always we’ll have to wait and see and hopefully someone will leak spy photos soon like they did with the new iPod Nanos.

[Update] It’s official! Apple has announced a new event to announce New macbooks on October 14th click here.

[Update] Macrumors did an extended post trying to explain that this picture is most likely a fake. Here is an excerpt of their post:

The size of the retailer makes it unlikely that this is simply a publicity stunt on the part of T-Systems, but the chance that any retailer would obtain early images of an unreleased MacBook Pro is extremely low. Apple keeps retailers in the dark about system updates until the very last minute. Promotional images are only released at time of launch.
