This post is going to be a lot different from the normal posts here on Ham Express, but there is good reason. The from started the . Hank and John Green both started this project together to promote charity. Thousands of YouTubers, including myself, will be posting their own talking about a charity of their choice. Hank and John will actually donate $1000 to the charity of the best Project 4 Awesome video. This project is just so…well… uh… AWESOME!
The charity that I personally support and will be promoting in the YouTube Project for Awesome is . is such a great organization that builds wells in villages that are unfortunate enough to not have access to safe, clean water. There are around 1.1 billion people who do not have access to safe, clean water. That’s 1 out of every 6 people! We really do sometimes take our access to clean water for granted. We have it easy, because all we have to do is turn a nob and water just comes shooting out. Many people around the world do not have the luxury of indoor plumbing and clean drinking water. Well is trying to change things by building wells in many villages. One by one is able to build wells for villages thanks to the support of people like you and me. So I ask you to please donate to . If you don’t feel like giving them straight money, you can even purchase gifts and merchandise from their website. 100% of the money from these purchased gifts and merchandise on their site go directly to building wells. So either way you are providing someone out there with safe, clean water. Water is essential to life, without it life could not exist.
So let me know what you think? Let me know if you decided to donate. Also go to YouTube and search for Project 4 Awesome Videos, rate, and comment on them! Hope you enjoyed the post!
Outstanding charity. You’re absolutely right about those of us who have grown up with modern indoor plumbing. We take the availability of water on demand for granted. Imagine the difference that bringing this service to those who’ve never had can make.

Thank you so much for your comment! I’m glad that you agree with me. And yes it’s so exciting just to think about the people getting wells from this organization. And I think it’s great that they put 100% of the money from the gifts they sell to building wells.
